What line are you talking about? The colored one at the bottom? That's a graphical representation of what kind of files are using how much of your space. The red part is videos, the purple part is pictures, etc.

no, on some devices, including my own tab s, now have a new button apear called timeline, it shows every last accessed file and such, even if the file does not even exist anymore, it still gets listed
You can clear the cache for this, but any new stuff will apear again and again.

And there is no known way to disable this new POS thing
