How do I edit the home feed on the YouTube app to show uploads only

Weird. My YouTube homescreen launches to the Channel Feed, which only shows uploads from channels I subscribe to.

If I go to a specific channel, there is a drop-down menu where I can choose between that channel's "Uploads" or "Activity".
