I dropped my Samsung galaxy s6 and the screen died now I can't access it to get my contacts. I hadn't enabled USB debugging and must have been saving my contact to the phone memory so my google account was missing them on my new handset.
I have tried the dr fone software and I cant get the phone into download mode must have damaged the power button.
How else can I get the contacts off my old phone ?
Any help is appreciated
Steve

I tried that but it says that usb connection to device is not possible - is this because usb debugging is not enabled ?

Any other ideas ?

It's because you have to tap "allow" - and you can't because the screen isn't working.

First check at contacts.google.com. If the contacts were entered as Google contacts, and you didn't turn contact sync off, they'll be there, and they'll sync to whatever phone you connect to that account.

If they're not, you'll have to find a repair shop that will plug a working screen into the phone long enough to export your contacts and copy the exported file to a flash drive or put it in your cloud account, or something.
