How do I pair my Nexus 6 and BT headset?

Nexus 6 not detecting BT headset

My brand new Nexus 6 is not detecting Plantronics bluetooth headset. But it shows other devices like mobile, PC,etc.
The current OS version is 5.0.1

Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you're putting the headset in discovery mode? (Read the little manual.)

Cmon, why be facetious? Bluetooth technology is nearly ten years old. And, you don't have to put your headset in discovery mode every single time you connect. You simply turn it on and it should reconnect. I'm thinking lollipop is dropping the connection to control resources. I've noticed that some of my background applications will stop working properly after a day or so. It's kind of annoying and we shouldn't have those issues with 3 GB of ram!
