AC Question

Every time I voice text, my phone repeats the sentence or paragraph twice. Anyway to avoid this annoyance?

How does one uninstall the update? I'm having the same problem but don't know how to uninstall the update. Thanks!

Got it. I didn't read the post very thoroughly. It worked. Thanks!

Re: How can I fix the "com.android.systemui has stopped" error?

I had a similar issue on my S7 edge; it started happening after an update. I wiped the phone and started a fresh install (not from back up) and solved the issue.

Re: How can I fix the "com.android.systemui has stopped" error?

Hi. I was having the same problem when I held down the home button to display all the opened apps so I could close them. The error ...system UI stopped working. I did as you recommended on this forum i.e uninstalled the Google app. Everything returned to fine working condition. Thanks guys. God bless.

Thank you! Uninstall updates for Google App*

I didn't even realize it happened when I'd try to access my task manager through the home button, wasn't really paying attention. Thank you kind person.

I uninstalled the Google updates but now have RED lines flashing on my screen.... don't know what that is - Please advice!

Removing the Google app fixed the "home" button error, but now i have no Google search. Tried to reload it, but get a new error when trying to use it... dangit.

Removing the update worked for my wife's S3 also.
Weirdest thing is my Moto X still works fine after the update.

You, sir, are a legacy android device ninja master. :p

I was near a complete erase/restore and was loathing it. Not worth it on an older device. Just trying to make it until I finally switch to something newer.

Your discovery and efforts to share it are appreciated!

Re: How can I fix the "com.android.systemui has stopped" error?

Well I'm not sure if this is going to help but my note 2 also started doing that 3 days ago. I have done and tried everything. So I did a factory reset. I started downloading one app at a time untill I figured out which one it was.... turned out it was my google app which is pre installed on my phone. Soon as I Uninstalled it the error went away. Hope this helps you

Hardware: Samsung Galaxy tab 3 8.0, purchased Dec 2013.
Android version 4.4.2 KitKat

I started looking searching the web and found old solutions to the problem that did not work like deleting the cache. :)

Update: after I disabled Auto Update I accidentally manually updated the App called "Google" and the problem returned. I uninstalled the update, no reboot, and it was fixed again.

I got this error for the first time ever when I pressed and held the HOME button to bring up Recent Apps list. I first uninstalled the 3rd party App launcher Go Launcher and its related components like Weather.

At first I tried to uninstall Google App but could not find in under installed apps - because I failed to click All column under the Application Manager.

1. Be sure to turn off Auto-Update on the App called "Google" or it will update within a few minutes again! To do this Click Play Store and click "My Apps & Games", click on "Google" it will say Update in the lower right corner, no in the top right corner click the three dots, uncheck Auto-Update.

Help....I think I uninstalled the update through my application manager (option not available in the Play Store) and it shows that the app is turned off. The stupid box still pops up every second or two. Also, my phone will restart randomly.

Working on Galaxy S5
