Having the same issue on my Tab 3 10 since the last Android update. The tablet seems to be running slower and Facebook constantly crashes.
Yes, this is happening to me as well! But only on my Tab 3, the facebook app on my Nexus 4 works absolutely fine. Very disappointing 
Same here with the Galaxy Tab. Uninstalled FB, cleared caches, even done a factory restore on the tablet. No lucky, still the same issues. Anyone having any luck? 
I thought I was crazy that this problem started happening outta no where with my galaxy tab3....

same problem here ! Super frustrating ! I have cleared cache uinstalled and reinsatlled but as soon as i like, share ,or go to my home page I get kicked off.
If you have a galaxy tab 3 gt-p2510 do not update to 4.4.2 apps don't work and the battery sucks
I am having the same issue since the last update as well. There is also a few other apps as well that keep crashing or wont open. I am ready to throw my tab 3 out the window.
My husband and I are in the crash club too, all started after the last galaxy update. FB messengr sometimes quits now too. Thanks for the tip about using chrome, but i hope they fix it soon.
Also on my galaxy tab 3 since updats. I've noticed that when it appears to crash, there is still an active facebook process that can be revived by pressing and holding on the home key, and choosing it from the list of active apps. The crash is more like facebook is reacting as if the back key enough times to get back to the home page.
Don't want to burst anyone's bubble here, but Samsung just updated to KitKat 4.4.2 (ATT) didn't fix a darn thing. I am so sick of FB crashing on Tab. works on phone, but a pain to type and read on that little screen! I have gone back and forth with Samsung support about this for weeks. I finally found this forum and see it is not my tablet. I forwarded the link to Samsung....jerk I chatted with last tonight wanted me to send my 6 month old tab in for service! Obviously they are not sharing this issue with the techs. Thanks all.
I am having the same issues, I am ready to throw my GalaxyTab 3 in the trash. Samsung really needs to fix this issue. Im sure we only represent a small portion of people that are having the same issue.
Since the last up date (4.4.2) to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, it's been unstable. At times it seems to go into sleep mode, I see the Samsung logo appear with the stupid spinning blue oval, then my login screen or black screen; usually when using Facebook, it seems to be the most problematic but it happens with other apps as well. Never had these issues with my Asus (to bad I dropped it.) Guess we'll have to hurry up and wait for Samsung to fix what they broke. Thank you Samsung!
I'm having the exact same problem with my mothers Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 since the update!!! Please help.... I've tried a full factory reset; it didn't help at all!
I'm having the same problem. Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 with the latest update. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I've also done a factory reset. No luck.
