I want to move and delete stuff

Re: how to view contents of sd card in galaxy note4

Open the App Drawer, locate the My Files folder, open it, and click SD Card.

Be careful what you delete!

My questions the same, but also, Will the SD card hurt, change, or destroy anything when I insert it?
It shouldn't damage anything when you insert the card into the phone. However when you remove the card from the phone, you need to safely unmount it first. To unmount it, go to Settings > Storage and click on Unmount SD Card anytime you want to remove the card. When you place the SD back in the phone, the phone should automatically mount the card, but if it doesn't, go back to Settings > Storage and click on Mount SD card.

If in doubt, turn off the phone and then remove the card...

What can happen when you don't unmount?

File or even whole drive corruption. If it happens to be in the middle of trying to write something to the drive and you yank it from the phone without warning, the files can be in an incompletely written state. This can be anything from harmless to "format the card and start over"
