How do we claim the free headphones

I kept mine. Used them today for work and they were ok. They sound better now that I have an adapt sound profile setup. Better than my Jaybird X2 BT earbuds.
 
Mine is under review as well. Submitted Sunday though. Preordered on Amazon on the 13th.
 
Just get some Beats decals and put them over the AKG logo. That way you get better sound and people will think you have Beats headphones... Win/Win!!! LOL...

I haven't tried a pair of beats in a few years so I am not sure how they sound now but when I did listen to them they were nowhere near the quality of other headphones in the same price range.

I actually wound up keeping them. I used them for the first time today and not bad.

Definitely better quality than the earbuds I've been using.
 
Mine was submitted on 8-29 for review, I just reicieved an email saying they will be shipped 10-01
 
Anyone here having issues with being denied for the headphones by Samsung? The first time I submitted it said my phone was eligible but I had to provide my receipt. I was denied because I didn't purchase between 8/10 and 8/23. I was able to resubmit with a picture of my pre-order email and purchase receipt but was denied again for the same reason.

same situation here. Was shocked when i got denied. First trial was submitted a packing slip from B&H got denied and then submitted a second image of email order confirmation that shows 8/18. still denied and cannot submit anymore. Call customer service and they said they will get back to me within 72 hours. so, nothing can do just wait.

Have you guys tried to claim the gift via the Shop Samsung app?
That's how many of us have done it before and this year too, with hardly any issues.
 
Yes the day I picked up my Note9 I installed the shop app and went through the process. It told me my phone was eligible but it still wanted a proof of purchase. I uploaded my purchase receipt and 3 days later I was denied. I then resubmitted with an upload of my receipt as well as a screenshot of my pre-order email and was denied again. The reason for denial both time has been "Your purchase did not occur within the retailer purchase period." What frustrates me about this is the fact that they show the purchase period being between 8/10 and 8/23. The phone wasn't officially available for purchase until 8/24.

Weird. That's exactly the proof I submitted. It clearly shows the (pre-)order date as well as the invoice (shipping) date. Mine was approved promptly.

Okay so, I think I'm not understanding you.
Did you preorder between 8/10-8/23 or not?
If you didn't, that's why they're denying the free preorder gift.
 
Is there anyone on here that pre-ordered from Sam's Club that was able to get approved for the promotion. I called the promotion hotline again and they stated the issue is with the reservation email that Sam's Club sent me upon pre-ordering. They claim there is nothing in the body of the email stating I pre-ordered the device. I also pointed out to them the date on the email but again they say that isn't good enough. So frustrating!!
 
I'm facing the same issue, but my order was from B&H. The invoice I attached clearly states the Order Date (8/20/19). I also called the promotion hotline and the operator confirmed the order date is clearly visible, but she wasn't able to explain why my request was rejected. The only thing she could do was escalate to tier 3 support. So, more waiting. I agree, it is frustrating.
 
I was told as well it would be escalated and that I would be receiving an email from them. I have been told twice now that the email would be coming and I have yet to receive it.
