How do you disable the switch camera swipe function on the Galaxy S9?

I'd love to disable the front-facing camera altogether but being able to disable the vertical swipe movement in the default camera that switches from the front facing camera to the back facing camera would be sufficient. I've had a look in the settings and see no option.

The vertical swipe is very annoying. Thanks.

Unfortunately there's no way to do that on the stock camera. You can use a 3rd party one that doesn't have gesture controls (personally I find the swipe option quite handy to switch between cameras, but it's all about preference).
