How do you put your apps in alphabetical order in Lollipop?

What carrier do you guys have?...sometimes carrier's change things on the phones
I have AT&T and it has it

Rogers, GS6 on 5.0.2. No A-Z option.

I dont know if this answers your question. But I figured out how to change from the Alphabetical order to the icons:
On homescreen, hit settings button.
Select the triangle key in the top middle (above Widgets icon)
Go to "Drawer Settings" and below this switch from "Layout" from "Vertical" --> "Page"

You get icons back but with a white background instead of the alphabetical icons.

Just got and applied my 5.1.1 update and I can confirm that I NOW have the sort A-Z button.

I did not have the button pre update

Apparently Rogers has paused 5.1.1 roll out due to some sms/volte related bug...

I was fortunate, updated to 5.1.1 last night on my S6 and it went fine, I'm so excited to have the A-Z sorting option back!!!

On my VZW a note 3 vn. 5.0 the Alphabetical option is in the menu in the app drawer. Open the app drawer, hit the menu button, hit "view as."

I know it's a bit of an old thread but it annoyed me for ages having not the A-Z option. If you don't want your apps in portrait but like to keep them in horizontal, there's a secret menu that's hidden in the bottom left hand corner of the screen (in the apps menu) its just above the app drawer. you can do a short diagonal upwards swipe(only with slight but fast movement) and this opens the menu.
I only find this out by accident ha ha

After u hit A-Z BUTTON theres no change. The next step will be save. Even if I save it it still isnt arranging..
