That explains why the initial reviews said there was no way to reorder but the TMo based ones referred to the A-Z button. Looks like the international version lacks A-Z.

I have the S6 Edge and am with O2 in the UK and have no A-Z sort either....FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!

VZW and A-Z is there. Annoying I have to hit it every time, but oh well.

What really irks me is that my S3 had a vertical listing of apps with a Rolodex alphabet on the right. I prefer that.

Yup that seems to be the problem....sucks for them
But the carriers here in the U.S. seemed to have removed a bunch of other features too

On mine, there are 3 vertical dots in the upper right (where everyone else has "EDIT"). In that drop down menu there is a "view as" and choose alphabetical

Thank goodness I am not alone! I thought I was going insane and missing something. Rogers seems to have messed up things, for example they included their suretap wallet in the S6 but when you launch it, it says it doesn't support it!

On my S4 there is an "View As" option from within the Apps grid, then just select Alphabetical.
Not sure if this helps for non-S4 owners.

Upper right hand corner there is an A-Z icon to press when you are in the app drawer

My Rogers S6 doesn't have it, just edit to disable/uninstall

The S5 had the same Uninstall feature And the ability to sort A-Z / Grid etc so why not the S6 Edge

I got my S6 last night, I'm from the UK and this missing feature was driving me insane. I thought I was missing something, until I came onto my trusted AC Forums to find a thread about the issue. I didn't find a fix for the issue, but I'm glad I'm not alone

Even more annoying - In the UK on O2 my S6 doesn't have the A-Z. But the other half's S4 which has just upgraded to lollipop 5.0.1 doesn't have the edit button either. But it automatically puts apps in alphabetical order. That's not just the existing apps, but new ones installed after the update too! #frustrating

What solution you did?

Install App swap and use that. Best solution I can figure out...
