How is everyone liking their Media Pad 3? Good, great or any bad?

Sometimes this tablet thinks it is a phone though... so I don't mind checking... I just made it home too late last night and was exhausted.

A problem on the mediapad M3 with Bluetooth on. WiFi really suffers. With Bluetooth off I can get speeds of 18 to 20 megabits per second. When using Bluetooth that speed drops to around 1mbps or even less. That makes this unit unusable for streaming Netflix and using Bluetooth headphones. Someone able to resolve this issue?

I’m honestly not experiencing this problem. 150 mb connection, seeing 52mb’s download with bluetooth off, 43mb’s with bluetooth on. Granted, I’m not using anything high end for listening (Aukey latitude bluetooth earbuds. ), but no Netflix speed issues after watching 2 hours worth of streaming content. Are you on EMUI 5 or the original O.S that came with it, because I’m on 5

Are you coming across others with this issue and can someone else do a check on their M3’s using bluetooth to see if this is an isolated situation, a bad batch, or I’ve got a unit that’s an exception to the rule.

Mine connects to the three access points in my home flawlessly, usually streaming Netflix and with my AKG YBT50 Bluetooth headphones connected.I`ve not heard of a problem like this before, sorry.

I just replied to a similar issue on this forum. it almost seems like the speed is capped when comparing it side by side to another device. I'll get 45mb down on my Pixel and this one will max out at 25. I haven't tried it connected to a Bluetooth device. I just got this tablet a little over a week ago and it has not upgraded from 6.0 yet. Its the last couple posts here

Here is another thread on XDA with a few people experiencing the slow speeds with Bluetooth on.

I love this tablet. It's my first ever tablet in possession. However, I just experienced issues with my wifi yesterday. Upon waking the tablet up from sleep mode after a couple of hours the wifi stopped working. It cannot detect any wifi routers. When I try to turn the wifi switch on and off, it flips back the opposite direction. I tried rebooting my tablet and the touch screen stopped working. Left it to rest for a few hours and the touch screen worked again. But the wifi connectivity issue remained. Rebooted again and it worked fine. However, if I left the tablet on sleep mode for a few hours, wifi issue appears again. I'm using my m3 as I type this. I just literally woke up from sleep and grabbed my tablet and my wifi is turned on but no networks can be detected. I knew I had to reboot, but I skipped that, turned on my cellular data and searched for a solution online. And here I am at Android Central. While browsing for about 30 min, my tablet rebooted by itself and my wifi is working again. Now I'm thinking that my tablet will auto reboot when the wifi issue appears if I failed to reboot it myself. Anyone has solutions to offer? Tnx
