For $199 + tax + $0.66 it is a very good phone. (Project Fi pricing if you use for 1 day and cancel or put on hold)

Picking one up for $199 then cancelling Fi was my plan as well can't wait!

Wow that's surprising, mine has almost zero lag. Have you already done the cache clear and/or factory reset?

better yet, reflashed the OS image and it performed well for some time and now its the same.
