Trade for the HTC Rezound if it the move costed you nothing? Why or why not?

No, because i hate the sense UI and because I doubt the Rezound will get ICS before we do.

I have 4 lines with Verizon and my next upgrade is in March. I've been chasing battery life since purchasing the Thunderbolt on launch day and again with the Bionic. Battery life being the single most important factor when choosing a device means I'll be purchasing the Razr Maxx next, that is of course something with equal or better battery life is announced at Mobile World Congress and is ready by March.

720p resolution, ICS, unlocked bootloaders, super amoled plus .... all the specs are important but battery life trumps all, at least with me. Unplugging at 6am in the morning and never having to worry about the phone dying is what I'm after and I'd rather not have to carry a brick to get it.

It would be a hard decision for me. The rezound is way too thick and I use to love sense before it reached 3.0+

It seems like the rezound has the best data connection and the least amount of issues out if the 4g phones, and a unlockable bootloader.

If I were to purchase a phone today I would pick the rezound, but I don't know if I will trade my bionic unless I have more issues. My bionic runs pretty well.

I have never installed 901 and my Bionic runs pretty well. I think the data issue may have more to do with how close you are to the 4G tower.

I switched from the clam-berry on Sprint to the bionic and am having a ball.... just rooted and froze... contemplating a new rom. Don't see any big issues. Ever owned a Blackberry?

No because Rezound battery and even extended batter suck suck SUCK compared to their Bionic counterparts ...

I ♥ Bionic

I am stuck on angry birds level 5-14, will getting a rezound help me pass this level? Seriously why? There is nothing wrong with the bionic. Motorola has always updated their phones faster than HTC. bionic will have ICS faster than Rezound. When that happens maybe I will be able to pass that angry birds level.

I like the rezound but not sure I could deal with the bulk of it....even with a case on the bionic it feels great....as far as the the things people complain about... you will get that with anything....I'm rooted with the 901update and the phone is great.....only thing not better than my charge is the screen.....may get the Maxx....all depends on what comes from mwc.....

BTW, the Rezound can do HDMI mirroring, you just need an mhl adapter for it.

If I had the opportunity to swap my Bionic for a GNex, I might consider it. I like my Bionic and haven't had any issues with it, and I don't like that the GNex does not have a removable SD card.....but I would definitely sit down and think about it.

I would personally pick up a rezound instead of my bionic, I am actually thinking about getting rid of my bionic for a rezound, already on my 2nd bionic from Verizon, so I think i am going to complain some more until they offer me a different phone. I loved my bionic but I can't stand the screen, especially when I am watching something. plus i hate the camera, my thunderbolt which I still have has a better camera then my bionic.

No. I wouldn't trade my Bionic for much of anything right now. Maybe the Nexus, only because it has ICS, and ICS is cool... but I would really have to think hard to make that trade. I love my Bionic more than any phone I've ever had before.

I wouldn't have had no major issues with my bionic and surely would not trade it for an HTC just my opinion:D

It seems to me that the people that don't have many problems with their Bionic are greater than the number that do. I could be wrong though. That's what I gather from this thread at least.

I do wish a number of developers didn't straight up abandon us though.

Well-said. It's an awesome little machine.
Regarding issues with the camera, I found that third party camera apps that let me control the compression, run it on burst mode, etc. solved any complaints I had.

No because
1. Hate sense UI
2. Out here in rural America the HTC radios have a lot more trouble grabbing PHONE signals. Moto can find a phone signal just about anywhere .

My wife has the rezound and i have the bionic, she really wants to trade with me because the call quality is vastly different, on the bionic its crystal clear, on the rezound its kind of like your talking through a tube.

That being said, i might actually trade her, just because i rarely ever make calls on the phone, the data, and apps, part is more important to me, and the rezound does have a edge on the bionic in power. That and she needs the phone feature much more then i do.

If i had it to do over again, i might have waited for the razr maxx though, it seems to be the best of both worlds. And to those that offer up the size of the rezound over the bionic, it isnt really that different till you add the extended battery to the bionic, then its a brick, granted you add the same to the rezound and you will need a 2nd car to carry it around for you.

It all depends on what you want in the new phone, im not one that has had a problem with the bionic so i really like it, if you want better call quality, you want the bionic, if you want a little more power, you want the rezound.

Btw am i correct that all i have to do to swap phones is swap the sim cards?
