How much customization does sense allow on the lock screen? can any widget be installed on the lock screen or is it limited to what HTC provides?

Widgets were only added to Android with version 4.2. Since the One is shipping with 4.1.2, you won't be able to add any widgets to the lockscreen like on a Nexus.

HTC does have some preset lockscreen layouts- Productiviy has calendar/email/phone call information; Photo Album has a small slideshow of pictures; and Music has a music player. Pretty limited, but you can still do something with the lockscreen. And any apps you have in the dock can be accessed from the lock screen as well.

Moving from my Galaxy Nexus, I'm going to miss DashClock Widget until the One gets 4.2.x. Hopefully it's out before whatever Google reveals at I/O.

If I'm not mistaken HTC removed the lock screen styles, so no you can't.

yes you can, go settings > personalize > lock screen style > wallpaper style and pick settings. You can change that to be a different background than your current. I don't think it works for any of the others though.

I can confirm that you can't change the wallpaper on the other lockscreen styles.

Is there an older version of DashClock that can be loaded that works with 4.1.x?

This is my lookscreen and I love it I used to use productivity but love the album lockscreen better.

Does anyone know if there is a way to keep the "album" lockscreen to stay on while the phone charges? I've hunted and can't find the setting anywhere.
