I agree. I think the whole reason they gave us unlimited data on this phone was to know how to tier later down the road. I mean 5GB or 6GB would be a good top tier I would think. I'll probably end up with right at or just under 5GB.

They have to realize that such an advanced phone on such an advanced network is going to be used to its fullest extent by some people. I'm not doing anything except what I am able to do on the phone. I'm not using Mobile Hotspot and I'm the only one who uses my phone.

7 days into the new cycle and I'm sitting at 1.681GB. I use WiFi anytime I'm at home also. That's an average of 0.24GB a day. If I maintain that average over the rest of my cycle I'll have about 7.2GB for the month. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Got my Thunderbolt on launch day and my billing cycle ended on April 16. Used 6.7 gigs for the month. Used to run around 1 gig on my BlackBerry Storm 2.

There's an easier way to track and monitor your data usage than logging in or texting.

Install 3G Watchdog from the Market. Despite its name, it tallies both your 3G and 4G data usage, while ignoring wifi traffic. You can set when your billing cycle resets, and even give it a monthly quota to monitor against (it gives you a percentage used; I set it to 5GB cause that's approx where I end up). It has a very nice widget, and you can even put it in your notification bar. It's nearly dead on with the VZW site numbers. Overall, a fantastic app, and incredibly handy.

I have 5 more days in my billing cycle and I have used 8.81GB! I am
shocked! I didn't think I used it that much, I guess I do! Hubby used
1GB!! Coming from a feature phone, I didn't have a clue how much
Data I would use! Thank goodness for Unlimited Data!!!!!
