I jst want to know the battery drainage rate in Note9 while using the phn for differerent application... This is to know whether my battery drainage is normal or not... So, I expect the cooperation from all the Note9 users... Mine goes this way:

1) Wifi/Data for normal browing appl.= 2-3% in 10min.
2) Wifi/Data for gaming(PES, PUBG) = 3-4% in 10min.
3) Video playback with minimum brightness & medium sound level = 1% in 10min.
4) Cell Standby in locked condition = 1% in 1 to 2hrs.
5) Camera appl. = 3 to 4% in 10min.
Normally, my Note9 gives around 7hrs screen usage while using applications of different catagory...

How's ur battery drainage rate??? U can mention urs additional usage application...
ThankYou for ur cooperation!!!

Anyone answering your post should fulfill the following conditions:
1. Your phones must always be on in the same place simultaneously.
2. Both phones are connected to the same mobile and wireless network.
3. The same apps. videos, photos, music and downloads are on both phones.
4. Both phones are exactly the same model, made at the same day and bought at the same time.

I'm saying that battery usage has many variables to actually consider. I however think your "profile"above seems similar to what many others have said in posts on other threads and fora.

I'd say two things...one, my battery isn't great, i rarely get a day out if it and two, you have far too much time on your hands

My battery is mediocre at best. I sometimes can barely get a day out of it. Don't respond with the cell signal question because that doesn't have much relevance. I get great signal everywhere I go. Standby drain stinks as I have the AT&T note 9 128gb and already hard reset twice. I've tried a lot of things such as safe mode, power save modes, wiping cache partition etc. Nothing seems resolve this issue.

I thought you said you found the problem ? You made trip to Canada and was good.

Oh wow...
Believe me I've disabled multiple things etc. And this drain issue happens with almost every Samsung phone I've had. Galaxy see and s4, Note 3 note 4, note 5, S6 edge, s7 edge, note 7, note 8 and now current note 9. My brother had a v30 and gets a day and a half out of it with heavy usage.

You should swap device with him for a day or 2 ...I think whatever the issue you have going on will happen on another phone your just lucky you have the note 9 battery size otherwise if it was another phone you probably only get 2 hours then end up charging.

I don't think so man. He has a different carrier too won't work. I have AT&T he has Verizon won't work.

I don't think Samsung ever claimed we'd get more than a day's usage out of the Note 9 (???). Considering that Samsung phones are chock-full of features getting a full day out of the battery of the Note 9 doesn't seem "mediocre" to me. Average? Yes. But not mediocre.

Im in the UK guys and on my daily driver Note 9 I get almost a full working day, (17 hours) on a reasonably heavy use. So Im a happy bunny.

Average and mediocre mean the same thing. Note 9 is a great device and has a lot to offer for the user. The battery life over hyped and not as advertised. So yes from my experience its average/mediocre at best.

mlbyanks11, cant see where Samsung overhyped the battery life to mislead the punter. To be fair I bought the phone on the basis and merit of my 100% satisfaction of all the Samsung phones I have had. Before I discovered my S7, I was an ardent, even fanatical Blackberry person,( Check the battery life of the Blackberry family). My family and friends despaired. How erver, I digress. Samsung have brought out superior products over a number of years and for me, my Note 9 is one of them.

Well isn't that nice to hear. Not everyone is you and vice versa. Maybe its AT&T variants with the issue who the hell knows. I had Blackberry too and can't recall how good or bad battery was but smartphones have come a long way since. Even for Blackberry. My note 9 battery is inconsistent and im a heavy user but it doesn't last me a day at times. Most smartphone companies over hype if you didn't realize that. Apple of all companies. I've had many products as well and quite happy but the battery life on my own note 9 hasn't been up to par.

Have been with apple since iPhone 3 . Time for a different phone . Have owned my galaxy note 9 since black Friday. So far battery life has been insane . As I write this I am 2 days 10 hours off the charger . 6 hours 10 minutes screen on time with 30% battery left . Mixed with internet , games , email , max screen resolution . 45% brightness . Will end up with 8 hours screen on before battery dies .
Love this phone !!!

Yeah they didn't. They advertised for a full day, not more than a day
