How stop top contacts?

Using the Messages app when starting and new conversation Top Contacts appear at the top.

How do you stop that from appearing?

New questioner here with same question. I have a MotoE4. I want to delete a Top Contact that has no phone number. I can't seem to update it and I can't get rid of it. Would be satisfied with deleting all Top contacts.
