How strong is the Curve Glass on the Edge?

So I'm planning on purchasing the new S7 Edge and thought that people in this forum probably know just how strong and safe the curved edge surface is. What has been your past experience with it? Is it prone to damage and scratches? Anyone actually broke theirs?

Mine got a crack from the home button about an inch up and to the edge on the left. No idea how. I musy of knocked it. I haven't really dropped it yet.

I don't use a case on mine and it doesn't have any scratches or anything after about 6 months now.

fwiw my mom has the s6 edge (not plus) and is not very careful with her stuff and so far hasn't managed to break it. there is a thin case on it right now but it doesn't offer a ton of protection.

the larger panels in the edge + and the 7 would be more susceptible to breaking just because of their surface area, but it does seem like they are pretty tough.
