How to attach a file from download folder I'm Messages on Samsung Note 10

Screenshot_20200512-100228_Gallery.jpg It only works with contacts with Samsung & phone numbers, not a text number. No I don't have an unlocked phone, I have a regular AT&T SM-N975U Note 10 Plus. I guess for once I'M SPECIAL, luck me, I guess. This also works on My wife's N10+. I don't have the My Files option when when sending to non Samsung phone numbers. Sucks to be them I guess.

Your Samsung message is old so most likely is why you have that, For us with Android Q 2.1 is latest and must of been removed, so that is why your able to do it.

I agree. My wife and I both have Unlocked Note 10+s and are on Android 10 / One UI 2.1 and I do not have MyFiles option in there even when I try texting her.

I have a pdf file saved in my download folder and I want to attach it to a text message using Messages. However, I don't see the paperclip used to attach a file. I see a + sign but it doesn't have a way to attach a file in the download folder.

Any ideas on how to do this is greatly appreciated.

Turn your Advanced Message on i bet you will be able to attach pdf.

Well that makes sense I guess. I'm not on AT&T so I don't have that .... and I'm unlocked so I never got any updates to enable RCS. Oh well. Thanks for the help and tips.
