How to debrand / remove carrier logo in One (M8)

Hi there.

I've recently bought an HTC One M8 online and was furious to find out it has Vodafone logo on bootup.

I consider myself above Novice but just below expert when it comes to ROMs, rooting, flashing, etc. and i would like to try to debrand and remove the network logo without the complicated rooting.

Can anyone help please? Many thanks.

If you mean the boot animation, rooting is the only way.

Not meant as an attack, but how often are you turning your phone on and off where a boot animation is causing that much frustration?
