How to disable "I'm driving" auto text reply s21 ultra

[Android Central Question]

Checked seemingly all available options for this uncommonly annoying feature and they are either already turned off or the option (according to interwebs) doesn't exist... any suggestions? TIA

Welcome to Android Central! Which car do you have? Some cars have this as an option in their own systems (i.e., not part of the phone's system). I recall when I rented out a Nissan Altima, there was an option in the car's system for that.

If you are using Verizom Message+, there is a setting in the app. I don't recall the specifics, but I wish Google Messages would add the feature...

The vehicle was the cause (Nissan NV1500 work van) all along. Thank you B. Diddy for the assistance.

Like you, I used Messages+ and switched to Google Messages for RSC a while back and this was one of the features I missed. I ended up using Tasker to create my own message that read similar to the Messages+ message. The other thing I missed was delayed messages but Google has since added that feature.
