Netflix was updated to version 1.3 today. The new .apk file is available for download here.

To install:
1. If you have a previous version of netflix uninstall it.
2. Download the .apk file from here
3. Get the apk on your nook by transferring it via USB or using dropbox
4. Download either a File Explorer (I prefer ES file Explorer) or apk installer from the market
5. open the app you downloaded in step 4 and select the netflix apk you download. It is named com.netflix.mediaclient.1.3
6. click it and go through the install process
7. enjoy netflix on your Nook Color!

If you are experiencing sound problems and would like to revert to the previous version. Version 1.2.2 is available here

I don't see it in the market. I downloaded it to my computer and installed with adb.

It works awesome. My kids have watched tons of kids tv shows and movies on it already.

I'm running rooted nook 1.2

Are you using market enabler or do you have an edited build.prop? The Netflix developers are restricting the netflix app to only certain phones and that is why it does not show up in the market for most people.

No, with this version I didn't have to edit the build.prop.

It's odd that I couldn't find it in the market either but the link that was in the story on androidcentral.com here took me straight to it and it installed and worked. I was quite surprised.

It must have been the link then. Yes editing the build.prop file is no longer required but some people still do it because they say it allows them to see more apps in the market.

How can you install something straight out of the market –*my Android account will only support my Samsung phone that I've already installed items on. :( How do I add a Nook?

Just sign in with your account on the nook. Use the market app on the nook as some people are having issues with the web market.

This isn't wkrking for me. It doesn't show up in the market app. The web market does a device check and won't let me download it. I was wondering if someone could put the apk in a dropbox link because I'm also getting download error messages on all the file links.

Disregard the dropbox request. Sideloaded.

You are totally awesome! I just installed Netflix on my NC running CM7 from a mSD card and it worked like a charm. This was one of the things I really wanted to do with my NC. Great job!
