How to Figure out If the Super AMOLED Screen on a galaxy note 3 is about to die ??

I have a galaxy note 3 and I have been using it from 2 years. I have been using my mobile with full care since the time I bought it.
From a week sometime some black color appear on my screen and it occurs on some or the other app icon or sometimes on all icons of the home screen. The icon goes black and when I restart my phone it goes back to normal. Why is it happening??
And sometime the black thing seems to fluctuate, when I swipe across my home screens it appers and goes immidiately.
Why is all this happening ??

Welcome to Android Central! I doubt it's a screen issue--that glitch is too specific. Try wiping the cache partition: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-11017

Thanks for replying B.Diddy.
But by wiping the catch partition do I have to loose any of my phone date such as apps, Images, etc ?
Please reply as soon as possible.

No, the system cache only has temporary system data. No personal data will be lost.
