Re: How to get a deal on note 3
You are 100% WRONG!
How could you possibly say that!?!?
Did you read the 1st page of the thread?
Did you see Paravoz' screenshot of his order, he got $200 off the "product", (not bill credit).
Have you not read ANY of my posts?
I will repeat ..........
1st call,
(I wasn't even calling about a new phone, I called because my unlimited texting jumped from $10 per mo to $20 per month).
After retention fixed my tx package, he then offered to set me up with a good deal on a new phone. First we talked iphones, then he said he could give me a better deal on Samsung.
He offered $75 bucks off the $299 "product" + $100 bill credit, + waived upgrade fee, + free standard overnight shipping. Guess what I told him? .... "I'll think about it" I said.
He then tx me his boss' phone number, and told me to call and leave a message for him if I change my mind. After researching the N3 for an hour, I called that number and left him a message.
He called me back, then set me up. $224.99 for the N3, (that's $75 off the "product") + $100 bill credit (to be applied within 45 days), waived upgrade fee, + free overnight shipping.
Guess what I immediately did next, ........................ anyone ??? (no, it's not hump day) lol
I googled "android forums" and joined 3 of them, (including here).
When I learned of Paravoz' deal, I was peed he paid less than I did for the "product".
I then also learned of the free tablet or watch with the purchase of qualifying phone + 2 year contract.
(so do you think I was going to make a second call? ................ you're darn right I was !!!)
Having saved Paravoz' Order Status to a local folder next to my Order Status, I called that number and left another message.
Same guy in retention, Justin, called me back.
I told him I wanted to e-mail 2 screenshots, and wanted $200 off, like Paravoz received.
He gave me his boss' e-mail. then put me on the phone with him.
I told him I was peed, wanted a better deal. After a 5 minute hold, he came back and told me that Paravoz has a business account, and that he couldn't give me the N3 for $100.
He told me all he could do was give me an additional $50 off the price of the N3, knocking it down from $224.99 to $174.99.
Then I told him, “being w/att for 12 yrs, and a manager in retention, surely you know about the Promo offering free tab or gear for qualifying phone and contract?”
He started about how he gave me this, and that, when I stopped him.
“the other stuff has nothing to do with this promo. I bought a new N3, and a new 2yr contract, and I am entitled to a my choice and I want a watch” I told him!
So he gave me one. He knew all about the promo, (didn’t pretend that he didn’t), created the order, entered the proper codes, and knocked the price of the $299 watch down to $0.00, (he didn’t give me a $299.99 credit off my bill, he gave me $299.99 of the “product”).
So in conclusion, here’s what I got …………………
Note3 for $174.99
Smartwatch for $0.00
$100 bill credit to be applied within 45 days
Waived upgrade fee
Free shipping
So redrover69, please don’t misinform the members by telling them ….. “They wont give you a dime off the price of any product. They will give you a credit on your next months bill.”
That’s 100% wrong of you to make such a statement.
