Nothing against them, just want to go back to stock 4.0.2 for now.

I restored my 4.0.2 backup through CWM Recovery but yet the 4.0.4 radios remain. Then I did a factory reset and the 4.0.4 radios still persisted.

How do I go back to the 4.0.2 radios?

Download the 4.0.2 factory images from here (the "mysid"/toro ones). Extract.
fastboot flash radio-cdma radio-cdma-toro-i515-_____.img
fastboot flash radio radio-toro-i515-_____.img (not sure the exact file names)

It's weird that restoring the backup didn't change the radios. Anyone have any idea why that would happen? For example, if I flash a new rom, wouldn't I flash that rom's radios too?

Also the radios are all over the place. Wipe cache then flash and wait. This 4.0.2 radios zip. http://db.tt/2wxY8nqw

Yup thats why I keep the 4.0.2 radio/bootloader zip and the 4.0.4 radio/bootloader zip on my virtual sd card .So if I did flash the 4.0.4 radio/bootloader I would have an EZ way to go back to the 4.0.2 radio/bootloader without having to hook phone up to computer to adb/fastboot it.

Just unzip the file and you will find the radio images that you need to flash.

Unfortunately, I am using a Windows XP machine and when my GNex is connected as a media device I can't see any files in the download folder (or any other folder for that matter). If I switch it to camera, I can see the file but it appends a .bmp suffix to it. I try to rename it but it won't let me. I am not allowed to write to the GNex from my Windows XP machine. I don't know why.

Oh wait, did you download them straight to your phone and want to flash using CWM? If so, I don't think you will be able to flash just the radios from that file from CWM. I just plug the phone into my computer and flash them using adb. Let me look. (Or some one else will chime in LOL)

Yes, I downloaded straight to the phone. I had to since I can't write to my GNex using Windows XP. I am not sure why not, but I can't.

Use moosc's link. It has what you need. The only question I have since I never flashed radios from CWM is whether or not you can flash that entire zip or if you would need the three images split in to three zips so that they can be flashed one at a time as you would when you do them manually. I'm sure some one will chime in.
