How to get Verizon caller ID identification on unlocked 10+?

Maybe Samsung or hiya changed the free caller ID/spam functionality on the note 10. I'm pretty sure when I first got the phone it was displaying detailed caller ID info, business names, or spam alerts when the phone rings. It's no longer the case. This is pretty annoying.

That's true. My S9+ would give me info for almost every single incoming call. My Note gives maybe 1/5 if not less.

I'm currently running on Verizon SIM with my unlocked. When you open the phone dialer, click on the 3 vertical dots next to the finder icon to open the setting. There should be an option to turn on caller ID/spam blocker... Which is managed by the built in hiya app. On my unlocked note 9 and initially on my note 10, I used to get caller ID info for free when this is turned on. It's no longer working. I don't remember when this stopped working on my note 10 because I just returned from a 3 weeks trip over seas where I was using a local sim.

You wont have if its a {u} device it needs to be a {u1} The {U1} are from samsung and the {u} is from your carrier that puts all the bloatware on the phone, I have sm975u note 10 plus and downloaded firmware from sammobile for for sm n975u1 and flashed it through odin.

If this thread is still active and u want I will tell you the fairley easy process if u respond. I dont feel like typing it if noone is active on this thread
