I don't know how it happened but yesterday I noticed my open tab count in the Chrome browser app had moved to the bottom of the screen and it's annoying. Does anyone know how to set it back to the top? I did some google searches and all I get is how to attempt to move the address bar to the bottom of the browser and I couldn't find anything in settings. Here's a screenshot

Have you tried clearing the app's cache/data? I don't see that change (nor an available update) on mine...

I cleared the cache and restarted but still didn't fix the issue. Went back and cleared data and that did but I lost all of my book marks.

Guess I should have asked if you synced your data with your Google account before attempting to clear data (if you did, they'll come back once the account sync is re-done). Have you tried uninstalling/re-installing Chrome? Which app version are you running? Mine shows version 80.0.3987.117

Type the following in the address bar

chrome://flags/#enable-chrome-duet

Under Chrome duet if it's set to enabled change to default and select relaunch at the bottom.

I think this is Google just rolling out server side chrome update. My wife had that for months on her pixel 2 xl. I have 3 xl and still have them at the top. Go figure.

Are you sure that you are using the CHROME browser? The samsung internet app puts the window count at the bottom and the chrome is at the top. We have both on the phone.

Thought that at first, but the screenshot's UI doesn't match that of Samsung Internet, it DOES match Chrome, with the exception of the nav bar being on the bottom.
