It should restart on its own. Just leave it plugged in. It might take a bit.

i need help..i was rooted in 2.1 then updated but superuser is still on my phone & i can't seem to root again ,i have tried over & over following to instructions word for word & when i run doroot.bat all it says is 'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file ..
if someone can help i would really appreciate it ..

Make sure the files you unzipped are in the correct folder.

Ok guys...i followed everything here...i got the lil ninja guy for superuser, when i click on him, there is nothing there, no options or anything...i reset my phone and did it over again..same results..i finally thought i had it and again fail lol...wtf im gonna give up soon. PLEASE HELP

LOL, its supposed to be blank. Once you start opening apps and you get the popup screen asking you to give it superuser permission and you click ok, those apps you gave permission to will be listed.

There pretty much is one click root now if you have the dev stuff installed. I'm not very DX savvy and I got it working.

Well I got it to successfully root, now what? It looks the same and everything. Did I miss something? First time rooting heh :S

SWYPE no longer working???

Greetings all, first post here.

I'm familiar with OS hacking, having come from a Blackberry life before Droid. I went ahead and downloaded the correct files to root my Droid X on my Mac, and all went well. I have the little ninja for SU, and I went ahead and DLed wireless tether, no problems.

Anyway, it took me a few minutes to realize that aside from the root working correctly, I seem to have lost my Swype input keyboard. Several of the buttons are blanks instead of function buttons, and when I press a key, there is a thin blue outline that surrounds the entire keyboard.

Has this happened to anyone else? Have I n=missed something in the root process, and if so, how do I correct it??

Ok, I'm dumb. Ran the processes, put everything in tools for SDK, clicked doroot batch file and it ran fine. At the end it says I am rooted with zero errors, cool! Problem is barnaacle and all my other root only programs don't work, and I can't find anything related to superuser permissions on my phone. Am I missing a step? Was I supposed to load anything to the SDcard that I didn't? I have done a battery pull or 2 and still nothing. I know I'm missing something, just don't know what. Any help is greatly appreciated!
