How to prevent camera auto beautify photo

Hi,

I took photo with Samsung A32 5G default camera app, the mole on my skin disappeared in the photo because Samsung auto beautify the photo (skin blemish dots are auto removed), how can I take a photo that shows original skin?

Can you turn that filter off in the camera settings? Once you do that, the camera app should remember your choice.

On my S23U there is an icon in the top right that looks like a magic wand (effects) if I tap it and then tap the "face" tab, there is an option for "face retouching. That setting was off for me, so I don't know what the default setting is.

Honestly, I think it's kinda not OK that they do this... doesn't sit right with me."

EDIT: I checked again on the front facing camera, and that setting is indeed on by default. Yeah, super weird, Samsung.

It was on by default in the front facing camera on my S22 Ultra as well. I haven't taken any selfies since I got the phone, so I didn't know that. I don't like that "feature" either.
