How to recover forgotten password on Samsung Note 4 without factory set.

I tried to answer a phone call unlocking with finger scanner. After several attempts it failed and was taken to the "password" screen. Phone has not locked me out yet, but I only have one left attempt to put in my password. Any way of getting back to the finger scanner? or ways to retrieve my password? Thanks.

No. Bring the phone to the carrier, along with a picture ID to show that it's your account, and they can remove the password and fingerprint locks.
