How to remove sub icons from a shortcut created from an app

I'm wondering how to remove the stupid sub icons that appear when you create a shortcut to an app from another app (as pictured in the link).

Is there any way to remove this sub icon as it looks ugly, I want the shortcut to stay but the sub icon to go away.

All my galaxies before this never did this, so I guess it might be new to tell you where you created the shortcut or something

I'm using a Galaxy S9+
