how do i get the command prompt to read inside the tools folder

should be something like cd\android-sdk-windows\tools

If not that then open SDK on the top of the main panel it says were android sdk is.

i had some problems on my desktop getting command propmt to work. This is what i did go to android sdk open the sdk setup.The window that opens should say sdk location(look at pic above) copy and paste that to command propmt add \tools to the end of it should work.hopefully.

If you mean the green/black menu with options then thats the recovery img that you wnated should mean it worked id make a nadroid backup and i think your good to go can flash a custom rom now.

Choose backup/restore then top option should be nadroid backup select that then wants its complete reboot.

I would use option 3 or 4.Option 4 just has the su/market fix already and sum sprint stuff removed.
