[HOW TO] Return to Stock for Froyo Update

Update 1. I went to the BA website and now I have no contacts. I pressed sync to phone and the little sync bar has been spinning an spinning and it does not look like it's doing anything. I only have 80 some contacts so it should not be a lot of data. After about 5 minutes I decided to enable autosync on the phone in case it needs that to comunicate with the phone.

Still just spinning not doing much of anything. Much network band meter shows no traffic. (I Just happen to be doing this in a fresh install of Chrome browser with no add-ons so nothing is being blocked.)

Sick of waiting so just hit backup now on phone and it comes back with No contacts synchronized.

Solved

Backup Assistant only works for contacts stored on the phone. I'd add that to your original post and call it good.

BTW that website is still just spinning away. By spinning there is a little progress indicator. I had to reload the page to break out. I'm trying another sync to see if it picks up the contact I added (and synced to BA) on the phone.

It came back as sync is complete and no new contact on the BA website.


Last update: Adding a contact to the BA website and then Sync'ing via the website did push the contact to my phone and finally did pickup the contact I add via the phone. Both are of course 'phone' contacts.

did you download and install the drivers?

disconnect the phone and try again

Sorry but what do you mean install?? on the sd card of phone or on comp?

In post#2 at the bottom it says preparations....step 1...download drivers to your computer...double click it after downloaded and follow any direction it gives you

You should update the phone first
Settings > about phone> update> check new

Hello! N00b question here...
First, I have EB01 Debloated/Deodexed version through Odin who wants to go back to stock. Can I just do a hard reset (Samsung Fascinate: Hard Reset) on the phone to start anew rather than going through the steps from the first page?

no it will most likely brick your phone ,,,,never do a factory reset from within a custom rom

How are you trying to send it to the phone? Are you referring to the app my backup or to what you saved in my backup?

This is good, only problem is that the main forum page points everyone to this other post with instructions to revert back. The difference is that it's flashing D101 instead of DL09. Is that a non-issue?
