did you place the recovery image in the tools folder before trying to push it? if you did, whats it called?
Never mind this stupid comment. Just trying to get 5 effen comments out so I can send an effen PM. This effen sucks. WTF's the point?!!!
When I download the SDK folder and try to click the SDK setup I get an error right off the bat
Failed to fetch URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml, reason: HTTPS SSL error. You might want to force download through HTTP in the settings.
Any ideas?
K one more question, it says to install USB driver package revision 1 but all I see is revision 3.
Do I use that one?
Hey guys I'm kind of having the same problem some other people have mentioned on here while trying to push the recovery image, it keeps saying "No such file or directory", even though the file name matches exactly. I've tried re-downloading it several times and it still will not work. I'm using a MAC and the 1.2.3 recovery image. Does anyone know what I should do? I'm very new to this rooting business and don't really know what I'm doing, but everything else so far has gone smoothly until this point.
Yep, its in the tools folder of the SDK. I don't know if this matters, but when the file downloads it always says "failed to mount" or something in the downloads window right as its finished. And I made sure debugging was not checked off until after I plugged in the phone and made sure there's no extra file extension on the .img file.
No I haven't, its still checked off since I plugged in the phone. Am I supposed to turn it off again?
Haha yes, if anyone can help me out of this mess that would be great. Thanks for trying though man, I appreciate it. I'm a complete and utter noob when it comes to this kind of stuff.
