Thanks it worked!
Oh great, im so glad, somehow in the original folder you were using, either that file got corrupted or deleted, so it couldnt push it to your phone... have a great day and thanks for the faith
Thanks it worked!
Hi, I am having similar error as laxguy - error: device not found after the reboot.
After the reboot, the media sync is running, and I don't know how to disable this function. I also tried the new code you just uploaded, but still gives the same error.
The files, such as superuser.apk, are not present in system/app right now.
I had the superuser app which I downloaded from market. I reinstalled it tried it again but still no luck.
I would appreciate if you could help me out.
Thanks a lot.
Worked out. Thank you so much for help.
Very new here.
I followed directions and thought it worked. Phone reset and rebooted.
I unlocked and tried to download super user but that failed after install. Said a bin needed to be flashed in recovery. Not sure what that means.
I uninstalled superuser everything seems to be working fine.
Is it safe to try this again? Did it root? Im not sure what to do from here.
Edit*** Looks like the same thing that happened to HJW*****
Ok, it was great until the rooting, but now I found my phone a little buggy. Sometimes the phone doesn't wake up by the right key. I had to remove the battery and reboot twice.
I installed the SetCPU app, but could that be the problem source?
Does this still work with DL09 or no?
in some cases
but i have a revised version of this in method 2, here

Alright, one of these days when I grow the balls to root my phone, ill hit you up.![]()
no problem, but trust me both method 2 and 3 are really easy . but let me know
The rooting isnt really a problem, if its just one click im fine. I did that on my d2g, but when it comes to roms, I have a tendency to **** up phones (my old d2g ;P)
Fortunately it's much harder to completely brick a phone doing an installation of a custom ROM than it actually is to install one. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone permanently bricking their phone this way, it's almost always recoverable.
