Re: [How-To] Rooting LS670ZVD with GingerBreak (no reverting and
sorry for being stupid...ill tell you all what ive done so far, so you can tell me how ive messed up.
i dld the mac osx gingerbreak/snap/whatever it actually is
unzipped it and threw it in /users/daniel/gingersnap
opened terminal and changed directories to gingersnap
no problem
went to the next step, typed
adb shell
bc i assumed that step:
adb shell
rm -r /data/local/tmp
mkdir /data/local/tmp
exit
was supposed to be done a line at a time, not all at once....received
Daniel-Schmidts-Computer:/users/daniel/gingersnap Daniel$ adb shell
-bash: adb: command not found
remember: that is literally ALL i have done. the above is the Only steps i have taken besides plugging my phone into my mac, enabling usb debugging, and turning off and then on my phone. im sorry in advance for the glaring errors, but id really appreciate someone's help, as it would probably only take you 30 seconds.
i assume i cant just open the ginger app in the osx gui w my phone connected? i have to go through the cmd steps...why else would they be there if i could just connect my phone, enable usb debugging, reboot, and open the app.
Thanks and hi everybody!
