How to see previous data usage amount?

So, I'm trying to decide if I want to keep unlimited data, or if I can just bite the bullet and accept a 2GB cap so I can get a new phone without having to pay $600+. Honestly, I'm pretty sure I use less than 1GB per month, but I'm not entirely sure. I can't really use the data usage thing in my phone, because I wiped pretty recently to flash a new ROM, and I'm pretty sure that reset the data usage.

I logged into my Verizon account online and tried to look up my data usage for the last few billing cycles, and all I could find was a long itemized list of all the MB I've used. I mean, I guess I could sit there and total it all up manually, but isn't there a way to just see the total raw amount of data used in a given billing cycle?

I just did this for my son. He just got a job and his phone's contract is ending next month, so I'm kicking him off my plan and he will be on his own! LOL

If you want to find out exactly how much you use, you can download that big long itemized list into MS Excel and total up the column. There should be a link on the bottom left of each page to download. However you can only do this for the last 3 months.

There is also a tool some ware on the My Verizon website that will plot your usage for the past 6 months, but be aware that it appears to round up. My son uses on average about 600 meg per month, but this tool rounded up to 1GB.

Log into your account. Click on "View Usage" on the left. Then towards the bottom of the page, click on "Run Account Analysis". Once the thing is done spinning, you can click on "Data" towards the upper right of the page. Then select the phone number you want to see from the drop down menu. This will give you the last 6 months of usage statistics. It also gives you the average.
