I've got a Samsung S24 using Vivaldi browser and when I hit certain sites (like Reddit) I get asked if I want to open the app instead. I would like to stop that behavior. I don't want to open an app and I don't want it to ask me. Anyone have any suggestions on how to disable that? TIA!

That would likely be the website's doing. Nothing to do with your choice of browser.
For reasons I'm not sure of. They want you to use their app, probably ad control for monitary purposes.

Welcome to AC!
On your s24 go to settings>apps>at the top default apps>open in link tap scroll down to your web browser tap >toggle off open supported links off
