question, I believe SC 2.9 includes the latest clockwork which would mean, you dont need to flash this correct: [RECOVERY] Updated ClockworkMod for ALL ROMs - xda-developers

Correct. Before 2.9.x if you flashed a SC 2.x you would loose Red and be back at blue having to update back to red.

If you have red and flash a SC 2.9.x you will no longer loose it as it is included in SC 2.9.x.

I just flashed the eb16 voodoo kernel and everything went fine. Only took 8 mins to flash kernel, enable lag fix, and reboot. I do have one question. If we get another version of super clean is all I have to do is flash the voodoo version?

Exactly as stated in the first post of this thread DO NOT flash a non voodoo kernel / rom over a voodoo kernel / rom.

If you do can it be fixed? Yes, but better off not doing it to begin with

Need some help with Voodoo

I tried my best to read up as much as I could, but I'm slightly confused with a few things. Please pardon my ignorance as I'm just beginning with Voodoo.

I'm currently on Super Clean 2.9 (non-voodoo) (Thank you Adrenalyne for the Rom and DroidXcon for the guide). I just flashed to Red CWM using ODIN. I want to try the voodoo kernel, so I downloaded the super_frankenclean_2.9v.zip file.

What exactly do I need to do after this?
1)Put this zip file in the root of the sdcard.
2)Boot into CWM and use "install zip from sdcard"
3)Navigate to the super_frankenclean_2.9v.zip and select it.

That will be all? Please let me know if I'm doing it right. Also, should I wipe data and cache before doing this update?

so far you are good, then you need to wipe cache and dalvik cache,
after that enable lagfix fix and reboot, directions on how to do all those things can be found here

yeah you can flash right over it ,, yes the caches will be enough,,,unless you enter some force close loop but you will be fine im sure

got ya. as i mentioned, its jsut the place i started. you dont have to flash to stock. i just wanted to make sure i cover the whole spectrum.

also you may want to post questions like this in the thread they relate to. for instance you should have posted in my how to voodoo thread. i get email alerts everytime someone post in that thread. i can answer easier that way. dont ge tme wrong, dan is as smart as they come, and you wont find anyone on any forum thats as helpful as he is, but he hates voodoo.

thanks, lol i dont hate it, i just dont support it for the newbie kind....infact im running voodoo right now. i enable and disable it a couple times a day because i think im in love with the voodoo chick

ive been trying to figure out how to get it to work through odin for awhile now... only the first EB01 voodoo kernel will do the conversion automatically,,, and i can make a voodoo package but it wont wipe on boot on account that when it restarts it goes directly to cwm and negates the cache wipe.
