How to Voodoo ***Updated 27 Mar 2011***KERNEL BUILT FROM SOURCE/SOUND/UNDERVOLTED

Ok, ok, ok, fine. So I do notice the phone is a bit quicker when opening and closing certain programs like the market, contacts, phone, calendar. Don't see a big difference in graphics, but like you told me, won't see that difference until we get some custom kernels. Browsing speed may be a tad bit better. Transition and scroll speed between homescreens and in the app drawer seem about the same. Got quadrant of 1458, so I guess I'm on the low end. Opened terminal emulator, typed mount, hit the enter key, I don't get the messages you have listed, get error messages

Ummmm, nevermind. I was all the way at the bottom of the list. scrolled up and saw the ext4 files. Boy nothing like trying something new to make noob mistakes all over again

Hey Landshark right on for taking the plunge! I finally did it earlier last week and like you i did notice some apps opening faster like market, calender, pandora, but then again i dont have a whole lot of apps to play with. And like yours my Quadrant score was a little low ( 1455 ) but hey i cant complain im at the point right now with 2.9.1 voodoo and EB16 Kernel and my current setup that i dont want to change one darn thing. MY battery life is great, GPS finally works now and its just all good!

Yeah, like anything else you want to try on our phones, I'm going to have to stick with this for probably a week or so to get a real gauge on any noticeable differences. We'll see what happens.

good job mike!! you finaly did it!! told you it has a little bit more pick me up than the rfs.

what i want is a bench mark app that gives you a break down of each part of the test. then you can REALLY compare rfs and ext4.

Sorry guys, I've been told we need to tighten our sticky belts. No more than 5 sticky threads per forum.
