do you know how to use a terminal emulator on your phone?

Yes have it installed and it is just like cmd for windows. Pretty simple just need to look up the commands for linux sometimes. Pretty basic though.

Oh that I already read about and did. That is why I got terminal emulator in the first place.

No need to do mount I already have and yest they are all EXT4

Nope, I just went back to stock DI01 > SC2.9nv > SC2.9v and only enabled the first lag fix option and it converted.

Need update

I haven't been on in awhile, I have FROYO and am rooted with red Clockwork Mod. Is there now a lagfix available? Or what is the best package to use out there and how can I get it without converting back to factory settings.

Unless you are running a voodoo ROM, there is no lagfix. Good news is Adrynalyne's latest superclean version 2.9 is so solid and fast I have not had any lag issues.

What is a nandroid?

In the first menu screen in red clockwork, scroll down to backup and restore, hit the power button, on the next menu screen, backup will already be highlighted, hit the power button, and waaaiiiiiitt. The backup will take a while. It basically takes a snapshot of your entire system, rom, kernel, modem, contacts, apps. That way if something goes wrong you can restore that backup and will be back to the state you were in when you made the backup.
