I feel like an ass. Normally things like this don't slip by me. I tested myself and it ran fine, but I never thought non voodoo users would have issues.

I am very, very sorry.

Anyway, enough grovelling from me.

To fix your phone and get back to some semblance of normal:

1. Download this EB01 Odin. This is the FULL enchilada. It is just like the DI01 all in one. Multiupload.com - upload your files to multiple file hosting sites!
Use this PIT: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2056318/atlas_v2.2.pit

Odin file goes in pda section of Odin, and pit goes in pit section.

Flash and boot up once.

Turn off phone and go back to Download Mode.

Flash this recovery from Odin (credit jt1134)

Reboot once.

Boot back to recovery and restore your nandroid, or flash a new rom.

Once again, very sorry for the whole mess.

So I was able to successfully get SC_2.7.1 updated on my phone. I assume I have the fixes you referred to earlier before removing it and I won't need to update it again when you repost?

I know it may seem like a dumb question. Just making sure as I am new to all of this.

Glad it worked for me too. These steps are great for if and when I want to do a good system wipe....i wonder if doing this will help with the GPS/sleep bug

I've done a few things with Odin but have never put anything in pit..could anyone give a brief explanation of what that is without too much trouble? Just curious. Thanks

im not to sure but from what i understand the pit file maps the partition.. make sure that everything is in its place . like if for some reason some voodoo messed up the partitioning the pit file would make sure it is written to the proper location... but we have been getting along without it so i dont know if its necessary but good to have

I flashed the original SC 2.7nv late yesterday afternoon via Red CWM after flashing the cwm-recovery-all tar using Odin. The phone rebooted fine and is running fine today (still having battery life issues but those are acceptable until we have source code based ROMs).

My question is with everything that has happened today with patches and 2.7.1 I'm wondering if I'm missing anything critical?

I don't load a bunch of apps to my phone and I'm very select about the ones I do load. So I'm not overly concerned about the malware issue.

And if it maps it and finds something wrong, does it fix it or just log it?

How large its is the pit file? My was only like 1.5 kb. If that's right, is the .tar run in odin, then re enter download mode and flash the pit or both at the same time or what? Thanks in advance and no need to apologize... Seriously - we love your work!
