Display Port support is, honestly, awesome! Finally a standard across all the phones.

Slimport and MHL were competing for the micro usb world. USB C spec has displayport baked in so it should be the standard going forward. Much more capable too. Very cool

It's SlimPort guys, not displayport, HTC 10 is in the official SlimPort supported devices website list SlimPort supported devices
They added LG G5 and Asus ZenFone 3 Ultra too

We just have to wait that SlimPort releases his usb type-c to HDMI adapter to play like this

I guess you didn't bother to read post #15. Displayport over USB-C is the VESA follow on to slimport. They are both the VESA standards for HDMI over USB. Slimport as a standard only exist over microUSB. The same thing over USB-C is the Displayport Alternate mode defined as port of the USB Type C standard. It is not "Slimport", it is the follow on to Slimport.

That looks like a USB A connector on the other end not HDMI. How does that carry video and audio to the TV. Do you plug it in a USB port?

No Audio out via HDMI on this product. There is audio just does not work on my monitor via HDMI but works fine on TVs.
Video Output was 1080p @60fps

Doing a search on the model in amazon or ebay works but I would not recommened it, due to very low power dellivery (or I got a defective product). Check comments out on youtube video.
