HTC 10 not receiving texts/calls

So, the thread seems kind of dead, but I said I'd post some follow-up and so I am.

I did re-enable wifi calling and had pretty good luck. Since I did that, no my more Viber or Skype messages from my wife telling me "your phone is sending me to voice mail," which is a good thing. The only exception that was this weekend while I was at home. Both my wife and a friend of mine said they were being sent to voice mail, although texts were getting through, which they typically haven't when the phone started acting up. Despite that one blip, though, I've not had the issues that I was experiencing. I still think it's software related, and not hardware. In general, the phone does *not* seem to transition well from wifi to cellular, which I suspect is part of what causes the issue.

I've noticed that putting the phone in airplane mode, waiting a few seconds and then taking it out of airplane mode seems to make thing work better. Maybe it's in my head.

Regardless, I plan to leave my phone with wifi calling enabled as it does make it better.

I have noticed putting it in Airplane Mode and waiting a few does fix it for a little while, but it will just go back to doing what it has been doing. I also notice that I only have this problem while I am connected to WIFI. Does this sound similar?

I've successfully used the airplane mode as well. As for wifi, though, for me it's different. When I'm connected to wifi and have wifi calling enabled, the problems doesn't occur nearly as often, but it still will occasionally happen.

I've had this issue going on 2 months now and I still haven't found a fix. I am also running the t-mobile version of this phone and have already replaced once with warranty. I'm hoping that the update to nougat may fix it, whenever the update is released.

There's a software update out today for the T-Mobile version (not unlocked). It says it's a security update, but it could have some non-security fixes. If you apply it, remember to double check whether it automagically enabled VoLTE. It usually does for me so I turn it right back off.

Like you, though, I'm hoping Nougat fixes it.

Just downloaded the update. Thanks for letting me know about it. Hopefully it helps with the signal quality. If not I'll continue to wait for nougat
