HTC Desire ROM

The problem is that he did he offered his gtalk and pm but people didn't read. I was new at this at one time so I can understand being scared to brick your phone. But come on I know the thread moved fast but its reading and google that's how I learned about adb. You have to be willing to look for the answer. Instead of just posting the same thing on a board that's been answered a few times

Exactly Dapke36. As a matter of fact, Bizz helped me out with a few questions that I had. I wasn't looking for Boost to directly answer the question, just anybody who may have had knowledge on the situation that I was presented with. If I were him, the only time I would have said something is when someone was giving out bad info.

yeah, but there are still a lot of people that spam regardless. We may be nice/smart about it, but i bet some minority aren't.

time to wait out the week, sounds like.

Yeah Bizz, that's the part were I kind of understood why he did it. I, myself, am a visual person. Like Dapke36 said, if there were step-by-step pictures or a video, that would have cut down on a lot of the traffic. By the way Bizz, thanks for the response early.

Oh no problem I love to help. Without it I would be stock. But yeah a video would have been great

To continue with the underlying theme of noob questions, will I (when this is released, of course) be able to place the zip file on the sdcard and have ROM manager install?

Oh, okay. Thanks for the response. I don't blame the guy for being frustrated; if I had to put of with my questions all day, I'm sure I would be angry. :)

At this point I'm not sure if its going to coke out as an update.zip or Rom.tgz and update its the latter of the two then everything will be don't through Spr. You would select, install, then select a Rom, choose the alpha Rom then it will take you through the rest. And if their going to have options on which music photo etc to choose its going to be great

Oh man if it actually ended up like that in SPR, that'd be sweet.

Auto partition, add-on of all the apps...my heads going to explode with the sweetness.

So the waiting game begins. Hopefully the morning part of the "it will be released tonight/morning" holds up. As many, i was really excited about the ril being fixed.

I am also. Tired of my wife bitching that I missed her call because I forgot to disable data

As well as everyone else in this thread.

This delay almost makes me want to waste money on an Incredible.

Although in all honestly, I have been looking around for an eris to throw the 2.1 hack on. Even if it isn't a FAST sense UI, I would have a phone to play around with.

I'm now thinking about the incredible also but I want something epic like the evo. Plus I must keep the Droid for froyo. You know as soon as it hits the n1 it will be ported for the Droid

No I can't do that she already thinks I love the Droid more than her.

I'm more excited for the future of Android devices than the Incredible. Whenever I find myself envying the Incredible, I just remember the fact that when I'm ready for an upgrade, a brand-new amazing phone will be out, and the people with the Incredible will be envying it. :)

The incredible looks nice and all but the evo is what I've been looking for big screen. The footprint isn't to big and the specs are great
