HTC Desire ROM

I'm now thinking about the incredible also but I want something epic like the evo. Plus I must keep the Droid for froyo. You know as soon as it hits the n1 it will be ported for the Droid

No I can't do that she already thinks I love the Droid more than her.

Good point. I'll keep it as well, just have to make sure I don't roll over to the verizon store on the 29th and get hooked.

I didn't even think about Froyo, but you're right, as this and the N1 are native "google experience" devices, they'll get the first upgrade. We should be hearing about that whenenver the next IO conference is, a month or two I believe.

The incredible looks nice and all but the evo is what I've been looking for big screen. The footprint isn't to big and the specs are great

The Evo - the best reason to switch to sprint. If I was in a 4G area, man, it'd be a tough choice.

Oh I can't play with it like the looks of it to much but don't see it as the upgrade path I should take to close to the Droid.

I am right outside of Chicago but still won't go to sprint plans are nice but their coverage for me wasn't to great I spent quite a bit of time roaming. And u couldn't use data when I was. My wife's iPhone got better reception than my pre

I've never had experience with Sprint (had Verizon since my first cellphone), but I did hear those negatives about them. I have also heard they have improved, but nothing that can match verizon, of course.

Also just read on Giz that a 4G plan might cost even more past a 3G ($10-20 extra) - not terrible, but a little too rich for my blood.

It's not bad the way their plans are 70-80 for unlimited Mobile to mobile data text only thing your mins go to is landlines. I like their plans but I just like Verizon more

Speaking of the evo, isn't that phone pretty much like the HD2 but with Android?

That's not enough to get you excited?? lol

I used the HD2 for the first time yesterday, and although I don't care for the software, the hardware is amazing. Such a huge screen on such a thin device.

And a better camera a second one plus a few other additions but yeah its the android hd2 that they weren't going to make

Oh i'm not unexcited at all - I love that phone. But I haven't read a ton on the Evo, so I was wondering if it was essentially the same hardware, new software.

By stock you mean none rooted droids doubtful. All their apps need the HTC framework so its either all or nothing. I even tried installing the apps in data no good they all have to be in the system

I love HTC also their hot and making some great phones to bad the only phone they had out last year that was nice was the hd2 euro version. I don't like winmo

Me either. Although the new WinMo looks useful, it's too blackberry/iphone (read: uncustomizable) for me. I would miss my widgets.

Me also their nice and the scrolling ones are very useful
