HTC Hero 2.1 & Exchange ActiveSync

I've recently upgraded my Sprint, HTC Hero to 2.1. Since then, when my phone tries to sync with Exchange I get prompted that Exchange requires certain security to sync, press OK to continue. The annoying part is it does it maybe every 5-10 Syncs and won't sync unless I press OK.

Anyone else experience this?

I'm using the Exchange Activesync Service (EAS) too but I'm not being prompted for anything. It's probably a difference in the way our company's Exchange servers are configured. You're not being presented with any more details? I know the 2.1 update supports more of the optional security features, e.g. requiring a password to unlock the phone.

Yes this happened to me after the update to 2.1 I manage my exchange server and changed the setting so the code is no longer required. Contact IT and have them make the change on your exchange server
