I have a Nexus 6P with 128 GB of storage, and if this rumor holds, the good news is that I won't be tempted to upgrade from it.
The only differences I can determine between my current phone and the "HTC Nexus Marlin" are potentially a faster processor and 1 GB more of RAM, a smaller screen, and bottom-firing speakers.
I don't think the first two changes will noticeably improve performance, and the last two changes are a downgrade from the current Nexus 6P's specs. Screen size and speaker placement generate a lot of passion, it appears, but I like the layout of my current phone.
Maybe it's true and the industry has reached a peak with smartphone design - good news for my wallet!
