HTC One Camera Default save location

Hey All,

Have had my HTC One for 2 months now and I love it! Although I've noticed that when I take a picture from Google Hangouts, the picture saves twice. One is in the MEDIA100 folder and the other is in the Camera folder. I tried to look for a setting in the camera, google hangouts, google photos and even in the main settings, and found nothing. How can I change the save location?
